Founded 2000 years ago by the Roman Empire, Zaragoza (pop. 800.000) is the principal city of the Ebro River valley in Spain. It is located at the geographical midpoint of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao and enjoys easy access to Spain's two principal airports, MAD and BCN, via 90-minute high-speed train links to the centers of Madrid and Barcelona.
